Welcome to Northern Ontario District

Cross Country Ontario is the Provincial Sports Organization for cross country skiing in Ontario. Northern Ontario District is one four geographical ski districts of Cross Country Ontario. Northern Ontario District (NOD) encompasses over 20 member clubs and 5,000 members located north from Hearst to Cochrane, south from Sault Ste. Marie to North Bay, west to Wawa and east to New Liskeard. NOD functions to develop and maintain support structures for the delivery of cross-country ski programs (recreational through to competitive) to a broad cross section of the community. Activities of NOD include athlete support and training, coaching and officials development, youth programming, competitive racing event coordination and promotion of cross country skiing.
