Page 1 of 4  To improve the minimum standard of coaching for developing athletes and better prepare our sport system to meet minimum coaching requirements at important competitions such as the BC Winter Games and Canada Winter Games, the following standards will come into effect in January 2012, and January 2014 (highlighted in green). Note that the new policies refer to the new NCCP system only. Information on minimum requirements for coaches with training in the previous NCCP system, and equivalency options for transfering from the previous system to the new system will be made available at a later date.
